Celebrate Dyngus Day
Slovenian-Style, April 21

Enjoy a new Slovenian-Style Polka tradition. Join the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame and Museum for Dyngus Day on Easter Monday, April 21. DJ Kishka, the Cleveland’s famous polka disc jockey, once again brings the Polka Hall of Fame to Detroit Avenue and West 58th for a day-long celebration of nationality music and dining. Free admission and free parking.

Justin Gorski, better known as DJ Kishka, hosts the 4th annual Dyngus Day Cleveland celebration with the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame and Museum on Monday, April 21, at the polka tent at West 58th and Detroit Avenue, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Bring your accordion for the 5:00 parade.

What began as a traditional Polish holiday has evolved into a top showcase for Cleveland-Style and Slovenian polka bands. You can stroll to taverns and restaurants along Detroit Avenue from West 58th to West 65th to enjoy your favorite polka performers. There’s live entertainment in the Polka Hall of Fame Music Tent at West 58th and Detroit from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with catering by Sterle’s Slovenian Country House. A portion of the Dyngus Day proceeds benefits the Polka Hall of Fame.
