Polka Hall of Fame Hosts
Free Concert in Hudson, Ohio,
Sunday, August 16
The National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame returns to the historic Bandstand on the Green in downtown Hudson, Ohio, on Sunday, August 16, 2015, with a free polka concert. Patty C and the Guys strike up the band at 6:00 p.m. for a two-hour show of Cleveland-Style polka and waltz favorites. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the program.
Patty C and the Guys are the nation’s top button accordion band, as voted by the membership of the Polka Hall of Fame. Their lively and lilting tunes will get you clapping along. The event is an annual fund-raiser for the Polka Hall of Fame, produced by the Hudson Bandstand Summer Music Festival. In case of rain, the performance switches to nearby Hudson High School auditorium.
Polka CDs and tee-shirts will be on sale, along with other treats. The Hudson Bandstand is located on the town square on So. Main Street (Route 91) in Hudson, Ohio.
